“The Feline War on Literacy” is something I’ve joked about in the past. The way that cats find books and papers and other literature and plant themselves as if to obscure the most writing possible has always seemed to me an amusement, but strangely like the cat is trying to keep companion humans from reading too much … perhaps getting ideas beyond an appropriate level necessary to care for cat-kind. After all, it would not do for humans to get ideas of freedom or emancipation from their duties to care and feed cat-kind!
